01. Sounds like Romeo and Juliet.

Okay, so do you remember Guy? The guy from that bonfire party I went to back in November? Yeah, I saw him yesterday, just walking down the street. Turns out he runs a local bookstore here in Pellenise, France. Yeah, that is right... Pellenise, I am pretty sure I just horribly butchered the name of some distant city that Kelly has never been to, but it is not like any REAL French people read this, anyway. I stayed for a bit, and we talked about how things have been going in our respective lives, apparently used to work as a firefighter before becoming the owner of the store. An odd job to switch to, but I guess one takes what one can get, eh?

04. My new favorite exclamation is boosh!

I could have sworn I had a spare post written just in case I could not come up with anything to write about, I guess it disappeared somewhere on the internet, perhaps it went to the same place my socks go when I do laundry... Goodbye, post! I will miss you, dude!

So I was walking down the hall at Sacred Heart today, thinking about how lately it seems as though something else other than me has been controlling my life, it could just be the shock of getting married, but I could swear I am not choosing what I do from day to day. Side note: I should stop daydreaming while running.

02. Rufio, Rufio, ROO... FEE...

Okay, so I just bought plane tickets with help from my friend Noah Bennet. I am planning on traveling to Seahaven, I heard there is a pretty good job there doing some babysitting next door. I heard he was nice, despite being locked up all his life without knowing it. You would think it would drive him a little crazy, never being able to leave and all that.

The gig is just a couple of Months, so I think I will head back to Oklahoma when it is over and visit my family, plus there is the whole wedding thing. Anyway, I have to get back to watching the monkeys.

05. Did you burn that down?

As soon as I stepped outside today, my neighbor (Eli) started whining about an airplane with no wings crashing into his barn... I cannot help it, we have been watching this movie a lot at work recently. Oh, That's how we joke... He doesn't even have a barn!

Anyway, I walked to school today, and passed by a group of local prisoners (With guards, of course), they were going down the street picking up trash. I noticed one man in particular, the number on his prison outfit was 37927. He looked vaguely familiar, but I did not think anything of it. I was too busy artfully dodging traffic (Mostly a type of car called a Konami) to try to figure out where I knew him. I have the high score in the Youth Group room at my Church... 8650, baby!

In other news: I spotted one of those new "Lemon Snickers" bars at the local 7-11, I could not help but wonder what unfortunate series of events unfolded to bring that candy bar into existence.

I do not think anyone will get that last one, honestly it was thrown in at the last second. Unrelated: Kelly is getting married. Crazy, huh? We have to wait until June before we can tackle her with joy, TP her house, throw confetti, etc.

08. Apparently the currency here is the baguette?

One of my teachers, Dr. Reginald Bushroot, announced that he is planning to show the movie "Édouard Ciseaux-Mains" in class tomorrow, I am pretty sure it is going to be totally awesome, I can hardly wait. I think I will bring cookies. After the announcement he had us view some pictures of the Hanging Gardens in Alexandria and he mentioned some stuff about irrigation... It was all in French, so I did not really understand it. Not that I am bashing her ability to speak French, I just like the irony.

It recently snowed about a foot and a half, so I asked to get a ride to school from one my classmates, Victor Wooten. While I was waiting for him to arrive at my house to pick me up, I noticed a book that had a little red cover with a broken spine laying on the table, I cracked it open to view the first line, as I like to do. It began with the phrase "It was a dark and stormy night. Suddenly, a shot rang out!". Not exactly the best beginning to a book, but I might check it out some other time. Victor arrived and we took off to the school. On the way there, he talked about how he likes to play the bass guitar in his spare time, and how he has been working on a riff, based on the song "Amazing Grace". I told him I would be interested in hearing it when he was finished writing it.

A couple of weeks ago after I got back from school, I was walking to my house, and my next door neighbor (Eli Peabody) stopped me to tell me something. His French is just horrible, but he insists on speaking it around me to get me "Acquainted with the locals". Anyway, he said "Obtenir l'empereur sa... Boisson." Yeah, goood times. Oh... Riiiiight.

00. Sitting, ur doin it rite!

So I have just been sitting... Ever since that party in November. Just sitting in the corner of the Living Room, watching the kids. I think something important is about to happen, but I am not too sure. I will be definitely update here if anything exciting happens, until then, I will continue sitting. Seriously, this is what Kelly has been doing in my mind since the last post, I guess creativity comes and goes with seasons... *Shrug*.

11. ... Come on!

I just got back from a party (Remember the time difference, it is about 2130 here), I got the invitation a week ago, which simply had the date and time listed... "11-5, 4:05 PM". Leeloo knew the location of the party, the time listed was a very odd time to start a party, but I have gotten used to not asking questions when it comes to traditions in this crazy land. I met a ton of people there, one Guy in particular who was very interesting. I never caught his name, but he introduced me to his friends: Thomas Bates, Christopher Wright, John Wright, Thomas Percy, Robert Catesby, Robert Winter, and Thomas Winter. They all wore funny hats and had pointy beards. He apparently adopted a daughter at some point named Antonia Fraser who was born in 1996 that loves to write. He said he grew up on an island directly Northwest of Santa Cruz Island, in the Galápagos. I guess he likes to tell people random facts about his life, our conversations were very unfocused and tended to take leaps all over the place, we had a hard time staying on one topic, but that is okay.

After we had all been introduced to each other we started some dancing, just before we started, one of the Guys said "A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having!". I have no idea what that means, but it sounded like a good idea. At one point during the dancing, the song "Fireworks" by Kate Walsh came on, which I personally thought was a poor choice, but I kept quiet and danced on. Surprisingly, everyone at the party was fairly decent at dancing, I definitely had a good time. Some time after that, they started a fire, bonfire. Night had come and we all sat around the fire pit and ate black peas with vinegar (They were gross, and by gross I mean awesome). They had a few fireworks which they set off in time to the 1812 Overture. At the end of the night, we listened to a song called "Remember" as we watched the fire burn down. All in all it was a good night of new friends, dancing, music, and fire.
